Wanted to say hello, from thailand

Iv been a member before but so long ago I couldn’t remember my details so registered again I live in Thailand , it’s our cool season now so the water temp has been down to 18/ 20 dc for 2 months or so but will start now to warm up , by March it’ll be 28 , my pond is 40,000 ltrs with 3 bottom drains to a six bay homemade filter with standpipes, settlement chamber , jap mat , moving bed and 2 of plastic media , a homemade UV . 2 25000 ltr per hour pumps 4 100 ltr air pumps plus a very large waterfall , and roofed because of the sun . Previously Iv only had Thai bred koi but now Iv started buying good quality Japanese koi and slowly want to have all imported jap fish , my aim is to only have 15/20 fish but get the up to 80 cm , my pond is 10 meters by 7 meters so they grow fast at 28dc temp . I know my system is old fashioned by your standards but drums and sieves etc are not available here even if people could afford them lol bye for now

hi mate i think this is it to upload photo attachment. see the toolbar just above top one the two squares one is green and one has black line around square. when you reply or start a new thread.
put your mouse arrow on this and it says insert image. then either upload from URL or your computer. if computer click from computer and then choose file. click photo and open then upload
size of file matters.

i use mobile phone for photo s on tapatalk. click reply scroll down. click photo file video click the square. pick source and say gallery away you go

or this way. i went into FAQ for this copy pasted.

How do I attach a file to a post?
To attach a file to your post, you need to be using the main 'New Post' or 'New Thread' page and not 'Quick Reply'. To use the main 'New Post' page, click the 'Post Reply' button in the relevant thread.
On this page, below the message box, you will find a button labelled 'Manage Attachments'. Clicking this button will open a new window for uploading attachments. You can upload an attachment either from your computer or from another URL by using the appropriate box on this page. Alternatively you can click the Attachment Icon to open this page.
To upload a file from your computer, click the 'Browse' button and locate the file. To upload a file from another URL, enter the full URL for the file in the second box on this page. Once you have completed one of the boxes, click 'Upload'.
Once the upload is completed the file name will appear below the input boxes in this window. You can then close the window to return to the new post screen.
What files types can I use? How large can attachments be?
In the attachment window you will find a list of the allowed file types and their maximum sizes. Files that are larger than these sizes will be rejected. There may also be an overall quota limit to the number of attachments you can post to the board.
How do I add an image to a post?
If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed.
To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert photos from your albums (?) in this way too.

hope this help s we all love pictures. and the read of a good old pond build. so if you have pictures of the pond build. get them on here. with the story of the build.

all the very best enjoy the nice hot weather. it is freezing here

Hi there
Especially nice to hear from a member in a different climate.
There's definitely nothing wring with a big multibay filter. Your pond sounds great.

Hi John
Where about are you in Thailand?
Going by your temps I guess it’s North rather than south?
I will be flying out to Thailand this Thursday

Maybe Keith, you could meet him out there and give some hands on advice and tips.
You never know the mods may even pay towards your air fare/travel costs

Thailand pond

Hi Keith , I live in Khon Kaen north east Thailand , 45 min flight from Bangkok. The pond is built in to the house , outside but under the house roof with glass patio doors from each room onto the pond , so I can lay in bed and watch the fish , and the waterfall is on a remote ( from B&Q ) lol

The lake( mud pond) is at the bottom of the garden ha . Being from Yorkshire originally I had it dig out to save buying soil when I built the house lol
