    Help plz

    Any 1 no what this is on my fish all fluffy is it fin rot?

    Cant see anything from the picture. You might wanna put some water in that pond though mate or you'll have more than cotton wool to worry about.

    No got net out first thing it did was ripped and now with the cold there on the bottom! Im in need of a bowl and a net now

    That looks a little like some fin rot going on to me on left pec.

    Duncan Griffiths book provides very clear instruction, that I always follow. It's a very well regarded literature on koi diagnosis and treatments and worth buying.

    Hi scott, its hard to see but the left pec does look a little uneven. It doesnt look particularly angry though (not red/pink and looking sore)
    Duncan griffiths book is an invaluable resource for sny koi keeper and if you havent got it already I definitely recommend adding it to your arsenal Help plz a solution of PP applied directly to the rot is usually a very good measure to stop the fin rot. I cant remember off the top of my head correct measurements though but its not applied neat as such. Have to make sure it doesnt go anywhere else other than the infected area too as PP in strong solution can be very very harsh and kill scales, destroy gills etc...
    hopefully someone with a bit more will come along and offer some advice.
