Posting pics
Here's a couple of ways, feel free to add to it.
If your adding pics from your pc then they need to be resized below 244.1kb, you can resize them through the paint program or similar.
If you use photobucket then all you have to do is left click on the pictures "IMG code" which highlights it, then right click and "copy" then right click and paste it into your post.

Hiya,
Can you start the thread again, not sure what happened but it's disappeared
Open your pics in photobucket, left click on the bottom IMG tag (it should say "copied") then on here in your post right click and paste, this should transfer the photobucket info to your post which in turn should display the picture/s.

When you use photo bucket you select the photo/s you want from other sources and upload to your photo bucket library. To re-size the photo suitable for using on the Forum you go to "Edit" and change the size to 600 x 400 or similar. You then save and copy by using the "direct"option. On the Forum you go to start new thread as usual. Then click on the "yellow" symbol showing a mountain scene, Then with your cursor in that box press paste (you need to back space anything in this box first).
Hope that is clear - I've just done it from memory.

Hi,
I was sent an email with some attachments of photos, i saved them to my pictures, but when I went to upload them, it said invalid file, can you explain why this is? and is there away around it?
Regards
Steve

It could be the wrong type of file. When you save the attachments do you have the option to change the type?
JPG is the most common image type.
If the above is gibberish you can email me the images and I'll convert them if you want?

On a mac if I remember correctly you can export a picture in iPhoto and choose the size then. If that doesn't work for you let me know and I'll write the steps down.

Sorry but I just cant work it out.
I have resized a pic using paint on windows and it now sits in "my pictures". I can see the "Insert image" button above me on this window but it just asks for the URL.
How do I get the picture from my computer direct to here? Or do I have to use a 3rd party site?
OK - Got it now!
From posting screen(or edit option/go advanced) scroll down to "additional options" and you see "manage attatchments" and "upload file from your computer".
That gets pics to your gallery and you can then use "insert image" button.
Sorry for my ineptness and hope this helps anyone else as slow as me.
