    Float switch

Bit of an odd one but something had in the pipe line for a while which is a float switch! Just because winters approaching and apparently this can affect connections and pipework making them brital so just a saftly measure Ordering the bits tonight to install before the weather really drops! Has anyone done one of these before if so is it as easy as dropping it in the corner of the pond and cable tieing part of the cable to something so it makes the float pivet on a drop on water level? Hope that makes sense? Any ideas welcome cheers Float switch
