Low KH
I live in a very soft water area kh about 2-3 out the tap with a PH of 7.2-7.6. I tested my pond the other day and the PH has got pretty high over 8. So Im trying to find a decent way of raising the KH without raising the PH. Because from what Ive read its due to having very little buffer from the low KH. If I use bi carb wont that raise the ph aswell?

So is there anything I can do or is it safe if the other parameters are ok?

Low KH can cause pH fluctuations or, worst case scenario, a pH crash. If you raise it with sodium bicarbonate to between 90 - 125 mg/l or 6dH, your pH will stabilise at about 8.4. Much safer for your fish and filtration system IMO.
