you will have to put it in its own container such as a vortex chamber,or a nexus, they have to be in water constantly,or fit in one of theses,,,andi https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuxBv1i2agw

Thanks again, trying to figure out the smallest filter system I can use for a 400gal QT as I intend putting in my filter room for my pond, intend building the filter & QT room first as I've planned it to go behind the furthest end of pond.

    Thanks

You could go for a sieve, if space is a problem? They can be pretty cheap on Fleabay?

Ive gone an extra foot in length and width, so did make comment and I replied that's my side of the garden and its smaller than your's so tough hahaha, It'll be around 3500 gallons at 12ftx8ftx5ft internally that's bigger enough for me I think to be honest.

Nice size mate wish mine was close to that gallon but little one needed garden to play in and the rabbits seem to have taken twice as much room and cost twice as much just set us back 320 for a broken leg which has had to come off . A lucky rabbit foot wasnt that bloody lucky was it

Sorry to read that about the rabbit, been lucky with my dogs as I've bred 2 litters from my two which more than covers vets bills no more litters though hard work but harder on both dogs, my bitch is nearly 7 now and I'm a believer that they should only have two litters, my dog is 3 yrs younger and I've been asked by others if I'd let him sire a couple of litters so that may happen, but I'll keep a pup from one of those litters.
And yes little one comes first and enjoy them when they're, my eldest lives away now with work, miss not being home, but after he passed his degree didn't have much option with the lack of opportunities around South Wales, my youngest has been disabled from birth so he's with us, they're 25 & 22 now, don't know where the yrs have gone.

As for the pond its far from being built or started as of yet, but that's the plan

She's 6 and spent the first whkle year in hospital so missed out on all the baby hugs first bottles ect you are bang on with time running away from you that's the reason I went self employed can do half days or days off for the beach out like that . As hard as it is I would love for her to get some where is life where she can see more than an office 5 mile from home a way off yet like but if she came home and said I've got a job in Canada Italy anywhere but here I would pack her bags my self this place is getting worse by the minute .

The second that shovel hits the ground itll be a whole new ball game love watching a good build build have fun doing it and the stress of it will be worthwhile for that 5 min with drink in hand watching them Haha
