Anyone have any experience of this sieve?
I知 thinking of buying the sieve below. Is a sieve a good means of mechanical filtration these days? I知 trying to not spend much money!
Thanks.

Hi, yes. Pump fed. I値l have to change things around.
Do they work ok?
Is there anything else (except a drum) that works well and doesn稚 need cleaning regularly?

Had one 3 yrs now, wouldn't be without it.
Left it in place in front of a newly installed Filtreau drum filter, takes out a lot of crud before it reaches the drum screen.
Maitenance obviously depends on how dirty the pond is and time of year, currently it's collecting lots of algae strands that would have the drum working overtime !
Lift the lid, swish screen debris down to bottom and scoop it out, job done.

Sieve in front of the Drum then is that the way to go?

Errr..why would you do that?
The whole point of a drum is to automate the mechanical filtration.
No point.

Lol fair enough, does kinda defeat the object of having the drum to do the work for you but if you池e happy that痴 all that matters ultimately eh?
