    ASHP Heat return

    Hi

What would others say would be a better return from my ASHP - over my Bakki which is housed in my garage uninsulated or in one of my 2no. 45mm dia mid-level returns in the pond ?

    Thanks

Personally i’d get it straight into the pond, avoiding any heat loss...

I agree no point loosing additional heat from the shower. Only exception might be if you want to run only one pump over winter and this would alow you to do it.
    6000g in ground koi pond
    +3000g lily/Anoxic pond attached
    29 koi (40 to 65cm)
Bottom drain, Mid water & Skimmer to Drum
JBR boichamber->Blue eco 500 pump ->below surface return.
Blue Eco 240 -> Large MB -> Waterfall -> Planted Anoxic pond (25 baskets)

Thanks guys, I’m going to divert it from my bakki supply and feed the heater, as this pump is only running at 70%

i will not return to the bakki but use the 45mm pond return

I agree that seem silly to areate the new warm water which must loose a lot of the warmth
