How to refill the carbon in a Big Blue dechlorinator

I have manged to buy a second hand big blue dechlorinator.

    Dechlorinator Units

Does anyone know how to replace the carbon in the blue cylinder ?

There are two long tubes and I'm not sure if the carbon needs to be inside or outside the tube.

    Thanks

If I remember correctly the carbon goes on the outside of the tubes but the tubes need to be in place whilst filling it

    Thanks Andy

The larger tube is the same size as the hole at the top of the cylinder. I cant see how you can fill it on the out side.

its probably very simple once you know how.

I'll have a look at mine when I get home on Saturday
The cheapest place I've found for granulated carbon is Dave Harrison on Facebook
I think its £100 for 25kg. You can get the pellet type cheaper but they don't compact down as well so they don't always removed 100% of the chlorine
