Yeah it did - a pukka EA one - that was shoved behind the Nexus behind the front seats! Got a Secoh air pump with it too, which was nice (providing it works! lol)

I once had an 8' multibay in my X5..... well it was sort of in. I must have have looked like a mad scientist experimenting with rocket powered car as from the rear the was half the filter sticking out and a long length of 4" ......... ignite the afterburner

A nexus 200 does go in the back of a BMW X5 but the boot and tailgate are open

Thought I'd measured our Kuga boot space well, turned out I miscalculated somewhere so couldn't quite squeeze all of a 210 in, had a 30 min drive home with the boot lid tied down, hubby just drove a bit slower and didnt use the motorway

my first multibay was 10 ft long and only 8ft of it would fit in my van, made for a long slow journey home, but thankfully no problems.

Get yourself one of the seriously long handled Phillips screwdriver 400mm shaft or suffer grazed knuckles, there are three screws at the very bottom holding the easy in.

I wouldn't like to say what speed i was going with a filter out the back of the car for fear of incriminating myself

I put 100 bricks, neatly stacked** on the back seat of my old Zafira. I had stuff in the boot that i hadn't bothered to remove.

** Neatly stacked, until i had to brake (not even particularly sharply) about half a mile from home. They survived the initial braking but not the after-surge (i dunno what else to call it...when you brake and your front end lowers, then comes back up, then kind of levels itself)...Well, it leveled the pile of bricks too. All over the place. In slow motion. I had time to feel the car move, look round at the bricks, express regret and feebly attempt to stop them tumbling, while they gently swayed back, then forward, then forward too much.

There were bricks and brick dust everywhere. Quite a few went through to the front.

Oh.....no.....that's right....i am mistaken....it wasn't in my Zafira. It was in my dad's Touran. We still laugh about it now.

Ooops....no....mistaken again....we have never laughed about it. He was furious. For ages.

Respect due having the balls to try getting the Nexus in and the patience to do it.

I remember travelling 50 miles or so down country lanes to collect a massive water butt which i intended to use as a filter. Got it in the car ok...Just no room for Mum and the dog. Tried putting the dog in the water butt but she was having none of it. Tried it with me in the water butt but Mum didnt want to drive with the rear view obscured (despite learning to drive in an army truck) So we all went home and i had to do the journey again. Got back, it wouldn't fit round the side of the house or through the house. So i had to lift it over next doors side entry, through their garden and over the fence.

I did make a filter out of it but i was never happy with how it went. So a month later, i dug a BIG hole and used it as a sump. Where it remains today.

What surprised me is despite being buried. It has turned 90 degrees in 4 years. I know this because i cut a slot in it for the sump pump wire to sit neatly....which it no longer does.
