Mine was done FOC by the people i bought it off as they had a spare motor, not like they had too as it was out of warranty but they did it anyway as well as hopefully address some of the other issues in one way or the other as above.
I’d agree that adding the Draco has definitely transformed my nexus too, I’d go as far as to say I wouldn’t have a nexus without one anymore - they make that much of a difference. Problem is it still only filters the one line and it can’t flow what I ultimately want too so it’ll get swapped out for a standalone and bio chamber when funds allow.

I will say this though, water ingress seems to be the main issue with the Draco units, we know the junction box has been altered/improved because of this, but with the motors suffering too it does seem like Tony could really do with moving them out of the drum or some other solution so that the motors aren’t subject to getting blasted with water when the cleaning cycle happens.
Bet the motors are the main weak point really now!

Sorry to hear you guys have been having probs with your Dracos,had my stand alone Draco since Feb and no probs as of yet and the drive motor gets a right soaking.
Checked all the electric boxs for water ingress etc and alls good,hope you get sorted Blue.John

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
