I think that is your best option, put the bio tight in the corner and have the drum in front.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, have a look at the Evolve filters, more or less spec it to how you want, media, bio, inlets, outlets fitted with a Draco, worth a look, made and assembled in the U.K. which could be very useful should parts be required.

The Profi has a dry area inside for air pump and pressure pump which would be useful to me as the filter will be outside with decking roof rather than in a filter house.
But
I'm edging towards the Synergy 35 over the Profi 30 as it can hold more media.
Thanks
21,000L mate. I added about another 100 litres of K1 and K1 Micro in total. I've also just added 25L of Helex that I had spare.

I have had to move filter area to back of pond. Finished size should be around 5500 gallon. We saw a new Oase comi drum on Sunday the Oase Proficlear Premium Compact-L EGC.
It says it's suitable for koi ponds up to 7700 gallon. Has 60 litres of hel-x and 3 year warranty.
My head hurts with all the possible combinations.
