I would be tempted to build through rather than refurb, esp if you want 2 m depth - 1.2m above ground is a lot, you will get better insulation underground than above - plus this way you can be 100%...

Same here as long as its in keeping with the size...
Same here as long as its in keeping with the size of the fish overall - if you don't like them, avoid Jumbo sized, and female koi.
