    Ph Probe Wiring

    just bought new ph controller and probe - ph controller is the alpha ph 560 and the ph probe i am not sure but all brand new . the ph probe has 5 wires i know the two ph wires and where they go in the controller , but then have 3 temperture wires yellow , black and plan and know they go in terminals 5,6 and 7 in the controller but not sure which order . any one help ?

    have tried that but still no temperature on display . thanks for the reply though.

    The wire on those PT100 sensors is very thin, when I fit them, I crimp on a ferrel so I can get a good grip, are you sure you are biting down on cable and not insulation?

    7 Plain, 6 Black sleeve,5 Yellow, 5 to 4 bridged.

    As SD said getting a decent connection can be a bit fiddly.

    sorted , thanks for the replies . temperature now working if not a little high 27.9! should read 23 but will work that one out with a bit more reading !
