I was but if I build a bigger pond I'll probably go for a bigger drum to allow higher throughput

A final kick in the teeth from my AEM Drum. The amalgam UV is no longer working, it might just be the tube itself, which looks blown, but there are no lights showing on the unit at all. I don't know if that is normal with these units. Luckily the person buying the unit is happy to accept a discount and sort things out himself which saves me the pleasure of dealing with AEM.

Is it fair to say you wont be purchasing another AEM in the future with all the issues you had...

Hope your new home is the start of something special.....

Seems Apbar you had a bad luck and got the "rotten egg" one.....for me it works perfectly - just exchanged the amalgam tube last weekend - after almost two years of continuous operation - now only reaching the max flow limit of it - as I would like to go higher - to say 25.000 L/h, while I can do max 20.000 - 21.000 L/h only via it - so this would be the only reason for me to upgrade - as otherwise works perfectly for me....

Good luck with your new pond - please share with us a lot of pics on your progress!

You get what you pay for - or better - what you make yourself.
