    Which Sieve is best

Hi, i have a 6000 gallon pond, and want to add a sieve to it. The pond has two bottom drains, however the pipe lenghts are different, therefore not sure I should add them both to the same sieve.

Should I go for an estro Sieve or a Kinshi, or is there something else I should consider

    cheers

    Mike

    hiya mike

i use a estro sieve myself and i think they are very good, my model is an older one but i went and collected another upto date estro sieve with trickydicky on here and have to say they look like good sieves. i dont know much about the Kinshi sieve so cant say any thing on them. have you looked into the ultra sieve 3 as have seen these and they look very good apart from bigger than the others.

Personally Fimbar i would use any of the sieves on the market as there all pretty much alike however you might want to consider the cetus sieve or ultra sieve as mark said as these take a higher load.
As mark said i have the newer version of the Estro sieve but this is going to be run on a 3,000 gallon pond

I run a Cetus sieve and am happy with it '

It is a fairly large compared to some of the others but as has been mentioned it can handle 18,000L going through it .

    Hi mike ,

i'd go kinshi , they are the only sieve thats really appealed to me , i dont run sieves , as i have bakkis ,but that sieve looks like it could do the job and then some !!!

Steve your right on that comment, I have a Kinshi II and they can handle 10,000 more than an Ultra Sieve III

Kinshi looks good. I heard they were probably what I should go for. The search is over I managed to get hold of two second hand ultra sieves. The large ones. At a bargain price Now just plumbing them in. Will let you all know how I get on.
