Nice looking pond mate, looks very neat.
Did you build it yourself?
What size is it and what filtration are you using?

Thanks rs2000. Not clever rough to build it myself.
M2 Koi built it for me absolutely fantastic
12ft in length 8ft in width and 4ft 6 inches in depth.
at the moment I have oase 16000 but can’t get on with it.
next couple of weeks having an evolve 2000 fitted too by M2 Koi

I'm quite confused by the pics - it looks as though walls were built directly onto the soil, at half height, and the bottom 'half' of the pond just being earth/clay 'walls' without any blockwork/brickwork. Obviously, much more was done prior to completing the pond, but, even so, my eyes are seeing pics that confuse the heck out of me, from a build point of view.
I would generally anticipate a concrete base being laid in the bottom of a dug hole, and then full-height blockwork/brickwork being built onto the concrete base.
@gravesendkoi: can you please enlighten me as to how the pond in the pics was actually built?
Cheers!

Looks like a concrete collar to me.
Block built off that, liner dropped in.
Would be my guess

basically as big carp mentioned there is a 2 foot concrete collar and then the blocks have come off that. Then a box weld liner has been slipped in. M2 Koi updated my pond that was there in the first place. I am really pleased with it.

Great pond and fish, I'm sure they now feel better swimming the right way up
When I’m dead I hope my Mrs doesn’t sell my fishing gear for what I told her they cost!

I like the misty / foggy photo, very atmospheric, and we've still got those dark dank days to come yet
