I assume your south of the river?

That would be considered a large garden north of the river!

Thanks andy, not what i had in mind at first but when i started the dig i found there to be a sewer 1 and a half ft down, so had to build up rather than down and as its a council property i didnt want to go bricks and then they say i couldnt have it.

Best i could do with what space i have (location near tower bridge)

Well half and half mate, my old pond was built out of old proper sleepers and when i moved house and the pond (beauty of using sleepers is they can go with you Best i could do with what space i have (location near tower bridge)) i extended it and used new sleepers only i bought old school measurement ones so they would marry up Best i could do with what space i have (location near tower bridge) (most new sleepers now are 200x100mm ay and old are 250 x 150mm Best i could do with what space i have (location near tower bridge)) so i bought 250x150 new sleepers. Its a long story but the timber yard local to me will rip sleepers in half on request so it gives you a 5x5 post as such. I had them ripped in half so it was easier to transport and also a hell of alot easier to fix together Best i could do with what space i have (location near tower bridge)
The bottom run and ends of mine are all old sleepers bar in the 4” top part to make it 2ft Best i could do with what space i have (location near tower bridge) 2x 10” and 4” gives 24” = 2 ft ay. Its 16 odd long and 6.5 ft wide. The only thing i massively regret is not renewing ends and going a full sleeper wide. The 6.5 where already there from old pond as my last garden was minute lol so i went back with them. I have an upgrade planned in the future but alls well at the minuite so im waiting it out. It will be another sleeper build though Best i could do with what space i have (location near tower bridge) sorry for going on mate ha ha
