Gonna sound really thick now......how do you send pics? in the insert image box, it asks for a web address.

Hi, as I've just started my new pond, obviously nothing to show. I do however have a pic of my old pond. It was 2,000 gallons, pump fed. A bit sad now, to see my old 'friends'

    Cheers...Freddy.

"big fish,do you still have them?"

Hi Mark. I wish I did ! Sadly, I had to leave them behind, not easy finding a home. I could have sold them I guess, but I didn't want the hassle. Locally, we don't have a lot of stockists, so it's gonna take a while to build up a nice collection. Anyway, don't want to steal the thread.

    Cheers...Freddy.

Hi folks. Could someone please tell what 'type' of Koi is in the foreground in my old pond ? The orange and white one, that is.

    Cheers...Freddy.

Hiya Steve. Just been doing a bit of searching, and I think you're right. To my untrained eye, that fish was a cracker. It had the same coloured eyelids. It seems there aren't that many around, not a popular variety, I guess.

    Cheers...Freddy.

you can get some very good examples , fairly cheap .....well compared to gosanke lolz

there what you could call , an outskirts fish , with gosanke being the mainstay of most keepers , but saying that , i have seen some very nice ones in the past , and been tempted to buy .

with these fish , your better to do research on the variety , and then research the breeders that produce them , and check how there fish do in our water , as you could find a stunning example , and get a bargain
