I see your point, thanks.
It's just that every time someone mentions an Eazy Pod people start saying how bad they are. I know they have their limitations but as long as others are aware of that and don't try to over stretch their capabilities then they will work. Mine is doing a fairly good job on my pond mainly because it is not a big pond. Maybe later in the year I might be saying something different as I feed more and the fish grow bigger but I will see what happens and upgrade as or when I need to.

I’ve got one to run on my skimmer line so I think it’ll do a great job, small footprint and reasonable price, what’s not to like?

It basically comes down to time, money and space does not it. Ideally a drum and bio chamber plus maybe a shower but not every one can stretch their budget to that unfortunately.
Consider when I started with ponds I was using pressure filters and box filters as I didn't know any better I have managed to get good water quality but had to work hard to keep on top of it so for me an Eazy Pod is a massive improvement but there is still room for much more.

A lot of people have them on their skimmer lines. I know they make better pre filters on bigger ponds so they must be doing something right. Horses for corses

Mechanical filter wise there good.
Like for a skimmer.
I have one on my grow on.
For mechanical only. Followed by bio filteration. Originally i was going to put a pod on my skimmer.
But changed my mind. And put a sieve on instead.
But that was only because of space
Lol.

The amount of times I was reading people saying how bad they are I was beginning to think the term Eazy Pod was another way of saying Screw You or Far Cough

No apologies needed David, I think it was a similar thing when I was looking on here a few weeks ago and every thread I went on was making a comment about how long I was talking to do my QT. It was a case of the straw that broke the camel's back. So I should be appologising (is that spelt right?) to you? Wrong glasses and predictive text
Sorry David for over reacting to you.
