Best pond net to keep leaves out

I am sure this has been covered on here before but after a bit of a search I cannot find anything that suits.
I have a 6m by 3m koi pond which is elevated from ground level. The latter falls away so the pond is approx 150mm above ground level at its lowest point and 1000mm at its highest. There is a continuous stone coping around. (my poor attempt at inserting a photo appears somewhere).
Unfortunately the pond is near to a large sweet chestnut tree which has begun its annual shed of large leaves. I am fed up of the daily clean out with a net of the leaves falling in there and am considering installing a (temporary) net stretched out over/just above the surface. The question is - has anyone done this? (surely someone will have) and if so can you recommend a particular mesh size/material (plastic/nylon etc) and anchoring solutions. Thanks in advance. Bryan

I used netting off Ebay. Its called "builders scaffold netting" or something like that. It stretches and is strong too. I think its 2m wide and 10 or 20 m long. You can join it together with cable ties as well

Wen I had a pond without a fitted walll skimmer to deal with any leaves, I just made sure I put the polycarb winter covers on before the trees started to shed- much more effective at keeping leaves out than nets. They are a nuisance with sagging, and quite unsightly too.

I have a Blagdon mesh pond net that fits my pond if I ever wanted to net it. The neatest and securest way of doing it is to fix some hooks to the pond walls under the outside edges of the copings so you can stretch the net tightly across, but easily unhook the net to get at your fish or plants.

I bought my netting of a company called rope and net makers and it is super strong and each square is individually tied so you can cut it to size to the nearest square without it unravelling.
I also fitted as per Felines description.
