From memory Tench are quite expensive compared to say small ghost koi and similar aren't they? Or was it just the place where I go them from?

As I am not that familiar with gravity systems is it worth fitting a valve onto the BD pipe work and a T so I can completely drain the tank down should I need to move it for any reason? I know you have got waste pipe work for the filters but that may not allow the hole system to be drain down?
What I mean is once the water in the tank drains down to the height of the centre pipe in the Eazy Pod no more water will come out of the tank or will it? Or would a safer option be just drop a puddle type sump pump into the BD and pump out the remaining water?
I'm used to pump fed systems so to completely drain them you just turn the pump off and open all the valves and as the pump is the lowest part of the system normally what doesn't come out of the waste outlet runs back down and out of the pump.
