I used stainless steel self tappers mate but it wouldn't really matter I think.

I have some ss nuts/bolts. I thought you used rivets Dave? I spent ages seeking out ss rivets but to no avail plus i would've had to borrow a rivet gun. So went with nuts and bolts since i already had about 90 ss nuts...or bolts....the round ones.

Anyway....Dave can you let me know the measurements please mate? Only rough. Doesn't need to be to the mm

I need....from the last drawing, how far from top of sieve box to the top of the guttering. And at roughly what angle is the mesh?

Once i have these measurements, i can begin to cobble it together.

    Thanks

Indeed - very well documented and executed DIY Bakki Shower filter - one way how to change the return to the pond part may be to use bulkhead fitting - similar like the one on picture bellow - this one is 75mm - so 75mm waste HT pipe fits perfectly over it:

You get what you pay for - or better - what you make yourself.

nice diy filter, always good when you can save some cash and do things yourself,i do have a suggestion though,on the inlet over sieve screen,as on yours the water just flows over one part of screen, could you not put a T piece with equal lengths of pipe either side and cut a slot almost full length of these,so the water would run over almost all the width of screen,if you get my meaning,or maybe a 90 bend with a piece of pipe from one side to the other with a long slot cut out, just a thought to get water all over instead of one spot, after having a sieve i know how the crud builds up after a while even if it doesnt look like it has, andi
