DIY vacum - using the old bioforce 4500 canister + 2500 pump..

Well I've been cleaning.. first removing all the old UV electrics, remove all the filter material then using the pump to fill the canister (needed as the pump is not self-priming). Reconnect so that: pond -> garden hose -> canister -> pump -> pond. Bingo water dyson cleaner

The inside of the bioforce has a natural cyclone, with a little air left it it also floats and the garden hose restricts the flow slightly.. resulting in this:

Picked up all the crap at the bottom from when they've uprooted the pots.

Now I've refitted the filter foam and left it going with the main larger pond filtration to give it some nice polishing..
