I don’t know how these things work but should there be water flowing from the inner chamber into the outer chamber . As a result I have about an inch of black gunge at the bottom of the outer chamber .
Can’t get a video to work so photo,s attached ,
hope you can see, it’s gettin dark outside.

Water flows in through the media in the easy center and down the pipe in the middle which leads to the outer bio chamber..Built not bought!

not much to see in the photos , was just gonna show where the water was trickling through.
i thought the outer chamber was always clean , hence the moving media , obviously wrong .
but how do you get rid of the gunge without totally emptying it , the exit pipe is so small .
