Thread: Pond Window 2.0

    Pond Window 2.0

    Hi

For some reason i can not reply to my own thread but i can create threads so i will have to post it here.
I posted about a pond window before and would just like to check if this spec of window is suitable before i purchase.

    12mm Tgh Clear / 1.5mm PVB
    Interlayer / 12mm Tgh Clear

Width 1650 Height 780 Giving internal size of 1500 by 700

    Toughened Stamp
    Polished Edge (TBLR)
    Dubbed Corner (4)
    Heatsoaked

I was going to lightly render then inside rather tham using insulation as i do not want to lose any more space as my pond is not the biggest.
I think i will either be cutting the rebate into the blockwork or using woodern batterns for the frame.
In terms of sealent would ms290 be the way to go, also how much of the stuff will i need?

Ps. If a moderator can fix my permissions so i can post replys to my threads it would be appreciated

Just edit your post and add what you need to, not sure its possible to reply to your own thread to be honest.

I’d allow a tube per meter plus a couple for luck but I probably used a bit too much really. You don’t want to be left a tube short and you could always send it back if you didn’t use it.
Mind you, the odd tube handy to have lying around just in case.
