That's a very good price Dave and quickly done with the liner.
Cant say I have tried that one but I am sure it would go well with that Cuban cigar.
It's a few years since a cigar as i used to smoke them regular and still get a crave as the guy at the back of me has one in his garden and it travels a lot.
Had our grandson all day which is our routine every Monday, hard work but he is good and only two yrs.
So was knackered when he went home and had to have a few "revivers" and felt better then
My mum used to call it that when she needed a drink, funny how it sticks.
Nice picture Dave.John

Its a tasty whiskey and I do like my cigars... Not good as I quit the cigs 12 years ago and started back on the cigars a year or so ago...
I don't have that many one a week usually makes it all the more enjoyable.
Will certainly keep you posted with the build and will maybe get some images of some koi when I transfer them..Built not bought!

I have had water in the grow on and had it working ok with no media in but it is empty now as I am away for a week on the 14 June and dont want any fish in there.
The media is maturing in the main shower, got some infrared stuff from Bacteria home in there.
When back from my hols the plan is to put some very small ones in there.
Sorry Dave for hijacking your thread.John

Well was advised liner would be delivered Tuesday next week, came home today to a large package in the porch from Gordon Low
liner.jpg
One course of block left to do and chuck this bad boy in then its fill time...
I treated the holding pond for fluke Saturday, fish have responded well and it seems to have cleared would like to treat again this week to get the unhatched eggs of last week. In two minds now about pumping the water from old pond to new pond... Was maybe just going to fill the new pond and run filters for a few days before floating the koi...
Will decide laterBuilt not bought!

Nice one on the liner dave.
Result turning up early.
On the water if it was me. I would go new water. Never know. Might be
Parasite or egg missed.
Your experienced enough to decide.
Great to see the fish and water in there new home mate.

Nice one Dave to get it early hope it's a nice snug fit for you.
Plenty of pics, presume you will use the same filter Dave so really useing the water wont matter, would it?
Matter of interest what did you use for flukes?John

Will be using the same shower and media from nexus anyway. I wasn't concerned with anything transferring just thought it may be an idea for a complete water change. I have plenty of algae now and blanket weed is setting in.
Kusuri M was the fluke treatment. Never had them before so I don't have any experience.
I had a lot of flower petals from a flowering tree on the pond surface. So I put a 4 inch pipe upto the surface as a make shift skimmer and an 18 inch showa decided to swim up the pipe into the nexus. It was a little stressed and next thing I know I have fluke.
Rain stopped play today so close to finishing the block. Have half the final course of brick to go tomorrow. Should have water in next weekend all being well.
