Does anybody have any pictures/videos of the spindrifter aerated bottom drain assembly?
I am looking to buy one and need to know what else I need to buy to accompany it?
Does it come with everything I need, most places also sell an optional 1" direct air feed kit do I need this?

Does anybody have any experience with the dura tech heaters?
I have bought one as part of a bundle and am struggling to fit it into the design.
The wife wants it out of sight which means putting it in the filter house, but the filter house is going to be narrow meaning there won't be the recommended clearance for the fan as the bio chamber will be in the way.
The only way I can get around this is to mount it higher than the bio chamber on a shelf but I am concerned with vibration.
Are these units stable or am I going to need to build a large concrete pillar to sit it on?

Its got to be fitted outside any building it sources the air to work. you could build a slab for it to sit on, at least a foot off any wall and a meter or more to each side and I think 2 meters from anything facing it, they're fairly heavy, like I said form a slab and bolt the feet to the slab.

Thanks for the info... but I guess that means I can't hide it away. Gonna have to find a nice hiding spot for it then

I think we have now agreed on a place to put it, it's a bit further away from the pond than I wanted (about 5 metres) but the manual says that it should be good up to 7.5m. I will be burrying the pipes underground and will insulate them aswell.

As already said mate they need plenty of space for air circulation.
The return air that they blow out is also pretty cold and will cause all sorts of damp problems if mounted internally.
