Hi all,
I have managed to get all the hard pipe work in for the bottom drains, skimmer and returns. How do you go about testing them. I have still to concrete in the bottom drains and back fill the runs but seems wise to check them prior.
Many thanks

I managed to test the pipework for leaks and all is fine. I put a tall head on each line and blanked the other end, then filled each line with water. No problems, so now back filled all the pipework. I have had the 38 sleepers delivered for the front face of the pond which are now in position and screwed to the wall, so next job is to concrete them in as well as bottom drain

Getting there slowly... Once you get started you realise how much there is to do!!
The purgola is now finished with a bench at the back and the pit for the combi drum filter. All pipe work to pond is in, mains water supply, mains drainage and electrical box from mains fuse board, so ready to drop in the filteration and connect up. The waterfall construction needs completing then to landscape the area with boulders, planting and turfing. Then for the liner and fill up. I am likley to be purchasing the filter and liner start of spring next year but all else will be completed and ready by end of this year. Also made a whiskey barrel table with bottle tops and epoxy clear resin as a little side job!!

Hi All, quick update. Managed to get the waterfall base structure in over Xmas which again was a lot of work. Now need to move some soil over to the right hand side, than liner and boulders
