thanks m8, and i thought the details might make it a bit easier for someone attempting this on there own, like i did
its nowhere near as difficult as made out , its all about the research and planning in advance

    Thanks,
yes m8, 12mm celotex on the walls, 2 boards thick on the window side, 1 board thick on the other walls and i used 50mm on the bottom because i already had them available

    little update:

got pond half filled as I'm due a 4" double union ball valve and my hi blow air pump from dave at coastal koi tomorrow and i forgot i needed them 2 bits to continue .
thats 5 of the possible 7 places it could leak all covered in water and not lost any as far as i can see.
i measured it to top of water sunday afternoon and then checked it this afternoon and so far so good.
got the coping stones all on this evening after a busy day slabbing ( ohhh my back and knees )

    little update

found a small leak on the 2" return pipe on t junction so will have to cut that out and reseal that bit, i tried using the hairdryer on tangitt applied over the leak , but didn't work, tried plumbers gold , = no go , and tried ms290 still no go.
ill have to drain the ponds to 18" and cut that bit out and reseal it from the inside out.
its ironic that it is the only return i didn't use a double union ball valve on, as it was my furthest away so i thought leave it off there because i want it open 100% to allow me to dictate flow, ( stupid me ) =lesson learned
if you can put a valve on it for the sake of £15 get one on there
filled up with tap water and applied the correct dose of chor to turn water into manageable water .
introduced 2 small fish the day before then put the rest in there once i was happy they were fine .
best bit is watching my kids who helped move the fish with nets watch them in their new environment

hi blow air pump in action
