That looks nice, it may take a few days or weeks for any small cracks to fill them selves, so expect some water loss in the few weeks, spot on job though

Some serious graft has gone into that, looks superb mate. Really hope it holds the water for you. Might have to keep the sides damp in summer.

One day I had severe pains ( thanks to the shovel ) I could not sleep, so I ended up in the ambulance . I got an injection, something against pain.

I would not recommend anyone to manually dig a mud pond

When I dug my pond out I had a few days that I had to roll out of bed but once I got going again I was ok, the problems started when I went to work and sat at a desk all day, that was soooooo painful, My hands hurt the most surprising, must have been the constant shock of the spade hitting the clay, anyway it took almost 3 months for my hands to recover, I thought I had done some serious damage, no ambulance drives or injections though

Finally i connect the pipe, now the water that comes out (from first pond) during the constant change is used for the mud pond

    That looks impressive mate.

Just have your wits about you at that depth, in case of trench collapse.
