So my first big dig has started today.
Today’s the day they started digging the pond. Still not 100% sure how it’ll look or shape yet as it depends on a drain which runs in the garden but looking at 6500 gallons, 5 foot deep in the deepest running 2 bottom drains to a gravity fed Combi drum with integrated UV (option of increasing bio side in filter pit) returns will be low, mid and waterfall. Being tight and putting a big air ring on top of the bottom drain so if it brakes it’ll be easily replaceable. Going to be fiber glassed with block sides, concrete base with rebars. Garden is a building site at the min but it’s going to take between 1 and a half months to 2 months for the whole garden, including walls to be built. Not sure how to upload photos via my phone.

This sounds like it's going to be stunning.
Your priority now is to learn how to post photos.

Thought you'd used your phone to write the thread LOL mine does that and worse all the time.
As for the photos - there is an icon on the top row and 3rd in from the right on the top of these reply boxes which is called insert image. Click on it then it gives you an option to down load a photo or file from your laptop or computer. From memory you then have to click on the file or photo and then on the upload button and it should stick it on here. For some reason it only puts the files in landscape mode so if you have taken the photo in portrait mode it will be on it's side
A few people use tapatalk or what ever it's called and then the images tend to come out the right way up I think.
Good luck.

Sounds a good build Wayne you will have to go a bit to do In 2mths!!
Saying that i did mine in that time single handed working every day on it as i am retired.
For pics insert to your computer then click on the top right square box where you are typing this and it says upload from computer and go from there.
Mind you I am not great on computers so maybe an easier way.John

I’m being lazy as I honestly don’t have time or ability to do majority of it so it’s all getting done by others with my input from the sidelines. Oh and additional help from where I’m buying the equipment from. It all depends on weather as to how long it’s going to take but fingers crossed it’ll be a couple of months.
Here goes the first pics of where’s it’s going. Fence has come down already but it’s too dark for pics now. I’ll post more in morning. 1ED0160E-CFB8-40E4-A0E6-B314BA138E69.jpg1ED0160E-CFB8-40E4-A0E6-B314BA138E69.jpg01F8E9F9-1FD4-4B6F-AB74-F4893A06EAE1.jpg94C12D2F-9330-4177-B1AB-11D6C6FB3277.jpgC262B819-0BE5-48F9-B375-5EB0F40DBC03.jpgOne during the day.

Yes I saw that. Even did screen shots to show what I don’t want to happen. We all learn by mistakes though.
