Will it do the trick though and give me good water clarity that’s the question! Now need to work out where my returns are going! Wife will be happy with the whole
Project as long as she has a blade at the end! The New build has started new to this!!

My main pump is a BADU TOP 6.... which will be after the nexus then goto 2 underwater returns one at the top end and one angled half way down one side?

Then a 8000 pump from my skimmer to pod.

Oh right! Well might consider selling this one and getting myself one of those for the nexus then?

I would recomend going up to 4" if you can gives more flexibility - how about going for an easy pod. Failing that then T in and run it in to the nexus.
    6000g in ground koi pond
    +3000g lily/Anoxic pond attached
    29 koi (40 to 65cm)
Bottom drain, Mid water & Skimmer to Drum
JBR boichamber->Blue eco 500 pump ->below surface return.
Blue Eco 240 -> Large MB -> Waterfall -> Planted Anoxic pond (25 baskets)

Lots of people use them on skimmer lines. If you need the cash though go for converting the skimmer to 4" and T in to the nexus.

Alternatively I used a second hand pressure filter on my skimmer for a while. You can pick those up very cheaply second hand on eBay but many on here really despise the things lol. They do create a lot of back pressure so will cost you in electricity and are difficult to get really clean.

I could get a t and pipe it into the 4” but would it create enough draw to do any good??
