Ha, I didn't manage to get my finger out today, got a bit further on the blockwork and went to fetch the pipes and fittings for the returns, so I will be able to get them in over the weekend, so nothing stopping me now, just my body failing fast, I need to go back to work for a rest

The window opening is now at the finished height and most importantly its level, the animals are starting to make use of the wall, I can see there will be a permanent sleeping position for the cat

Didn't quite finish off as I would have liked today, although all the returns are in the walls and the gap has been left for the skimmer.

Just 6 more blocks to lay tomorrow, I ran out of mix at 6 tonight and my arms and hand were getting very painful, so decided to give it a rest til tomorrow, hopefully the pain will go and I can get it all finished off tomorrow, then just need to give it a good clean out

I had a little rest today whilst the wife did some blockwork and she has started to clear out the base of the pond, I didn't realize how messy I was

I'll have to try and book the day off work when they do the fiberglassing, i'd like to see it being done

Now just got to sit down and think of all the things I need to do before the glassing gets done

Wife did some blockwork !!! you have a good one there Roy.

I was going to do the glassing myself till Ken came on here and volunteered his services, must admit watching him at it i thought i could have done it,but i have glassed little bits since then and learnt a lot from Ken.

Are you insulating next? I didnt bother just rendered it all inside to make it smooth.

She would have helped with the digging if I would let her

Yes I am insulating it, mainly because its easier than rendering and quicker, £160 for 8 sheets of insulation, delivered, so not worth rendering

Just pulled in the electrics and water to the gazebo, not sure what for, but better to be looking at it than for it

The water is probably going to be a irrigation system for the Bonsai, yes I am too lazy to water them
Electrics for lights and a socket
    Electrics for temperature sensor
    Electrics for.......... just in case!

I had some cable saved over from a job so thought why not pull it in to behind the pond, it will be hidden if I don't need it and there if I do, knowing me there wont be enough but its all in ducting, so I can pull more in if needed

    Install insulation to walls
    Make window frame in insulation

Fix all pipework to the pond wall so they don’t drop or move DONE
Setup a cover ready for fibreglassing DONE

    FILTER ROOM
Move roof tiles to side of house DONE
Dig trench from filter room to pond DONE
    Pipe locations to plan DONE
Dig out for concrete base DONE
    Concrete base
    Build filter room

    PIPEWORK TO INSTALL OR EXTEND
4" pipes from BD to filter room to extend DONE
1" pipes from BD air to filter room to extend DONE
