I've managed to finish my job 2 days earlier than planned, so I've got the day off work today, hopefully if the phone doesn't ring too often and i'll be able to get some blocks moved closer to the pond ready for the weekend and hopefully make some room on the drive

I have a water pipe and sewer pipe to move before I can start the blockwork
4600 Gallon Concrete Block and Fiberglass
2100 mm x 710 mm Infinity Window 32mm thick glass
2 x Aerated Bottom Drains and Skimmer
    Filtreau HiFlow 30 Drum Filter
    Bio Chamber - 140 litres K1
Bakki Shower - 30 KG Sakura Far Infrared Media
    2 x 18,000 lh pumps
Heated from house boiler through a heat exchanger

Now that I've got all the blocks here I need to think about fiberglassing, I've decided who to use just need to find a way to cover the pond whilst he does the job, anyone got a marquee i can borrow for a few weeks as a temporary cover?

Unfortunately they won't do it without a proper cover, its to protect from the sun as much as the rain, wind, dust etc

I little bit more done today, two pallets of blocks moved around the back to the pond and the setup lines are in for the long walls.
    WP_20180621_17_15_59_Pro_LI.jpg WP_20180621_17_16_11_Pro_LI.jpg
Drains have been redirected around the pond, just the water to move, but I didn't have enough pipe inserts to do all the joints, no surprise that Toolstation didn't have any in either

I got a bit of a system going with 3 wheelbarrows, 3 went to the front full of soil and 3 came back full of blocks, I'm running out of space to store them around the pond now so I need to start laying them

You dont hang about Roy and i bet you have the walls up in a few days the speed your going

Would go for your diagram 2 as you dont want too much going through the bio thats the way i went, after drum one 4ins to bio and 4ins reduced to 2ins over shower and as allready said would use variable pumps 18000 cheap from Fish street.

Old faithful had to come out of retirement today, don't know what I would do without her, she has been with me for almost 25 years, showing her age now

First row of blocks down, I didn't expect to get much done today, just wanted to get the first row setup, once this is down its plain sailing for a while

Okay so only two fish from the show, Cuttlebrook Koi Farm stand, Chagoi Karashigoi JUMBO Bloodine, 2 for £10, couldn't refuse

Also bought a Evolution Aqua 55 watt UV at a very good price, just fitted this to the temporary holding tank, so all in all a good weekend

Quite a productive day today, managed to get the level sorted and the corners up, just finished loading up the blocks ready for tomorrow, its abit to warm for block laying, i'm having to keep them covered over so the mortar doesn't dry out to quickly

If you are wondering what the ladder is for, its the only thing I have that is straight enough to give me a level across the back
