what part of hull you at,somethings definately wrong if its putting all the k1 into pipes and pond, what size pump you using,im thinking maybe the water isnt getting out as quick as your putting it in,so raising the levels and flooding it,also aiming a hose at a brick wont work, you need to take the metals and other nasty stuff out of water,id suggest a small 10" 3 pod dechlorinator for taking metals out and then some sodium thiosulphate off ebay for the chlorine, andi

oh and to solve the green you need a uv,size dependant on gallonage of pond and whether in shade or full sun,you could try some aquasource blanketweed resolve to help with the green, andi

all th e pipes where full of k1 took a while getting them all emptied.

i have reduced the quantity of k 1 in both chambers , already the water level in the centre is lower than normal , tomorrow I will insert a gate valve to lessen the flow into the Nexus , if that works put more k1 in .
i do have a pipe in outer section . The centre is green , think this is the problem as it gets full of crap too quickly .
i do fill up with tap water Was told to point water at abrick to dechlorinate it .
    I’m in hull .

    Thanks Steve

Mid build currently. Will be profidrum into block built/fibreglassed bio chamber 2m long by 1m high and wide filled with siporax and matting. Pumped over large shower with either CB or Biohome shower media. Currently leaning towards biohome as to avoid any potential glass entering the pond if it erodes. The shower returns into a large planted anoxic filter (24 baskets) and returns via 4" subsurface pipework. Skimmer will have its own dedicated sieve and bead filter as it's over 25 feet away from drum and some form of isolation or redundancy won't hurt.

    Evening all .

Late home frfrom work so so not much done today . So after removing Half the k1 yesterday from the easy it lasted all day but would not have lasted overnight so gave it 30 minutes rinse. Should last TIL tomorrow night .

Stand pipe is 18 inch including the bit at the bottom on the Nexus ,does not go right into the 4inch boot .

I have a 55w proclear uv , running approx 2300 gallon pond , pump is 8000 aquamax , Pond is in direct sunlight all day . Got 6 lilies i it .
I’ve got a tub of cloverleaf blanket answer (2kg) , shall I put it all in , joking , might work tho . I was gonna put a gate valve on but no time today .

ill have a look at a dichlorinator .

Hi freddy. Live west hull , near hessle . Not been on rigs , thanks for your offers , I,ll be in touch .

    Thanks Steve

if you put cloverleaf in you deffo wont see your fish as pond will go white, get some shade over pond and get some aquasource blanketweed resolve, doesnt cloud water and you just sprinkle round edge, theres still something wrong for it to be working like it is,andi

Hi Steve just a suggestion try taking a video of your nexus from all directions whilst running and post on here then someone might spot what's going wrong .

    Important: Essential Action
For Pump fed units it is important that you get the height of the outlet standpipe correct. The height of this standpipe is very important as it controls the height that the outer biological chamber of the Nexus runs at. For a standard Nexus installation you need to
cut a length of your 4" (110mm) return pipe: 21" (535mm) for a 200 and 23.2" (590mm) for a 300. This needs to be inserted into the exit chamber (E) through the outlet (F) and then secured using the 4"-4" (110mm) (Fig 1.1) rubber boot leaving 2" (50mm) below as shown in Fig 7. 2" (50mm) of pipe below the boot will allow you to connect any fitting onto your Nexus such as a valve, elbow or straight connector. To check that you have the height of the outlet pipe correct you can measure from the top of the standpipe to Fig 6
Max distance (H) below water level of Nexus base
    Nexus 200
    Nexus 300
    Next to Pond
    350mm
    14"
    500mm
    20"
    Within 5m
    100mm
    4"
    250mm
    10"
    Over 5m
    At or above water levelnexus.jpg

I take it this is the same manual you are using ,if this is set correct the only other place I can think of is the slots on the exit from the easy to the bio chamber being restricted blocked that's my 2 pence worth lol
