Really glad things are coming together for you now Eifion especially after the trials and tribulations you have been through
even so, I cant stand the pond or the surrounding area, think its rubbish...………….oh, and then just to top it off, what do I see,
a drunken dog staggering around everywhere.....makes a change from seeing you staggering around I suppose .

Ps...…..will you net the pond when your on your holls to keep that pesky Heron away.
Hello Anne, an interesting development on the heron, it looks like I may have been wrong on that count, I've set up a camera so I can keep an eye on the pond while away. The pond did have a visitor over night but it wasn't what I expected. But you'll have to wait until the next video to see .

I will be putting a net over the pond just in case

Hello all, here's the latest instalment : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_zItzWKgZAc&t=278s

Discovered what had been visiting my pond and taken some of the koi, not what I originally thought . It seems like I've encountered a lifetime of issues / problems with the pond already, the joys of koi keeping

Also paid a visit to the 'West Wales Koi Society' show, some very nice koi on show .

Tut. You can’t shoot Herons can you Fred!

Not sure where the Heron went from my pond. He took four of my fish. Hasn’t taken any for a while now oddly.

Slightly off topic, I do love shooting and have a nice Beretta sporting gun in my cabinet, not that it’s relevant...

Haha if that heron had one of my fish. It would be in the pot now never mind 4.
Our patch came up to me the other day with a load of tail feathers of a wood pigeon last week. I have seen the woody minus the tail feathers. Lives in a tree in next doors garden. I love all animals. And nature. But I still draw a line. If you have invested 24 years of your time on the fish.
And pond. Protection of them is my motto.
So if patch my dog don't get them. Out comes my telescopic air rifle. New pond construction in progress, really appreciate feedbackNew pond construction in progress, really appreciate feedbackNew pond construction in progress, really appreciate feedback
