Morning Fred. Bit like a zombie today, the little fella decided it would be a good idea to play trampolines on my bed at 1am...2am...3am...is it daytime now? Zzzzzzz

Not yet, probably won’t get time to look at anything during daylight until Saturday now.
Looks like the sealant is torn in 2 places.
Good luck with your fill up mate

Hope so, cleaned everything up, masked up the glass and fibreglass and filled the gap overlapping about half an inch, looks a lot neater now.
I’ll find out when it’s gone off in a couple of days then I’ll refill.
Will give you a shout tomorrow

Looks like today was window day lol. Redone mine aswel, took flange off and cleaned all ha6 off, it literally peeled off liner, wasnt impressed at all to say ive been using ha6 for years without issue, i think its the difference in liner, all my old ones were butyl firestone but this ones an epalyn and completely different texture.so ive splashed out on some ct1, what a difference in consistency between ct1 and ha6, the ct1 is really thick and bloody sticky lol.pond been filling back up 9 hours and ive about 9 inch of water in lol.hope yours is sorted bcc, im sticking to ct1 from now on, andi

Cheers Andy...black MS290 is the product I used. Thick and gooey, kind of rubbery texture when it’s gone off.
Not too sure how long I’ll leave mine to cure given it’s a bit parky down here at the moment. Probably another day or so then I’ll take the plunge (not literally)

Fingers crossed mate, I ended up going for the automarine stuff, I’ve used plenty of sealants in my line of work and to be honest this stuff seems too and sets real nice if you mask it and run the bead in. BTW have you got a thread for the build? I’ve had a look but couldn’t see anything?

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
