Bigcarpchaser finally gets his bum into gear!
It’ll be more or less confirmed in the morning.
The return pipes are just below window so plan is to leave filled to top of those and see if level drops. If it stays the same then the leak is above that, if it drops then I’ll know it’s below. Simples

I’ll put you all out of your misery...hasn’t dropped a bit.
Phew..so, that rules out any return pipes and bottom drain.
Now just have to decide how to resolve the window issue.

Looks like a good result.
Just out of interest who fitted your window? Anglian? LOL
Do you know if you'll need any PU18 yet?

There’s not a “hangs my head in shame it was me” emoji lol
I’m good for the sealant thanks mate, going to pump the rest of the water out shortly as don’t fancy messing around with my waders on.
Don’t think I’ll have a chance to do anything until next weekend now anyway. It’s not like I’m in a rush to put fish in lol

Congrats on the pipes, commiserations on the window. Ive just been in mine as even though i blathered round it yesterday i still had a leak, mines a framed window with a clamping plate and a couple of bolts that tighten it up wanted nipping, plus i found a spot where rubber had pulled away from silicone as it filled, i could get my fingertip in it lol,so out came the gun again and plugged it with more ha6.flamin water was cold plus raining not nice haha. I think if you can get yours on a dry day mate i'd scrape it out and redo, good luck, andi

Well, I’m emptying the rest of the pond now and will have a looksee at possibly remedy later.
If it has to come out so be it but not a job I’m looking forward to.
From my initial look I think where I had to use so much sealant behind one corner it looks like it’s compressed a bit and torn the strip between the edge of the glass and the rebate it’s sitting in.
Perhaps like Scott suggests, cutting out the offending areas and overfilling it may work.
If I tape up either side of the join then fill it up so it laps both edges it’ll seal nicely.

Hope you get it sorted asap Mr Big as I want to see fish in it next time I come round for a coffee LOL
Shall we have a race between your pond and my QT to see which one gets fish in it first? LOL
My money's on you

Lol Fred.
I reckon I’ll have fish in my pond before Frim has even sorted his garage out
(And I wasn’t planning on putting any in until the spring)

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
