going to dry fix plumb it all this week, make sure all my levels are ok then get the glue out. Endeavoring to get my plumber round to install a new water main branch over to the other side of the garage is the main mission

Well that's plumbers for you. It's not just the pipe you see it's the what's it for the thing a me jig that requires a doodah that is the expensive bit and is on back or so will take a year to come in but if you want to pay cash I'll be around first thing Monday morning and have it cracked out before 10 am.

FINALLY, all flow and return pipework dry fitted. Have to pipe up drum pressure pump and header tank overflow later then take it all apart tomorrow and glue it...gulp.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
