Fingers crossed.when my pond was first built. I had it filled up very slowly. The first time. Looking for leaks mainly. I had one in my atlantica window. Bottom left corner. Fixed it with water still in.

No probs hope it helps i think i overkill well hopfully i have theres sum coni in there that i no even a like water mix in the wall cavaty and wall ties ever block high so it all bonds at 1!! I think its 4000x6000 and 4ft deep i did go 5 but found maindrain of the street had had 2 fill in a bit didnt want that in pond!!

very nice build, nice neat brickwork, looks like 4.5 m long x 3m wide internally, so at 4 ft deep you will have about 3,600 gallons, that's a nice size.

So your pond is dense blocks upright as the inner skin of the walls with wall ties linking to outer skin of normal bricks you used 3-1 mix on all the mortar? I believe it makes a difference as to what sand you use is this true what have you used sharp sand or normal builders sand? Sorry for all the questions getting ready to start digging my new pond as soon as we get a decent break in this damn rain so just trying to get it straight in my head.
