the walls are all done and I made a start on digging the earth out to get the slab laid for the shed managed to dig out a tonne bag yesterday afternoon, had to dig down quite far so that the sieve is 1cm above the proposed waterline. do I need to cut a rebate in the wall for the window, I am going to put 25mm celotex on the walls so wasn't sure if id be better off rebating the window into the wall or putting it on the celotex once fibreglassed. plan for next weekend finish digging the earth out for the slab and get my fence back up. if my ballast, cement and blocks are delivered I may even be able to get the slab down. 20180421_160931.jpg

    Steves 1st pond build

Getting there now steve Steves 1st pond build
Best way with the window imo would be to use the celotex as the rebate Steves 1st pond build by that i mean stop the celotex short of the window hole by about 50mm all round to form what will look like a rebate Steves 1st pond build Then once fiberglassed sit and seal the glass into that rebate onto the glass Steves 1st pond build seen it done that way in the flesh on a freinds pond it worked a treat Steves 1st pond build i also think many on here who have used celotex have done it that way. You just got to make sure the fiberglass is nice and flush/flat where the glass will sit to it.

Thanks was thinking that would be ok just wanted to check due to the weight of the window didn't want the fibreglass to crack under the pressure of the celotex moved where by I knew the brick work wouldn't move but if that's how others do it that way should be fine

In theory the area where the glass is bonded to the fiberglass is straight onto the wall so shouldnt move Steves 1st pond build
