yeah lee cheers mate. that's an understatement mate. I nearly had an heart attack in a good way. even our kevin the eldest only found out a month before we got told. he split up and she went straight down south. not knowing
then a month or so later she is pregnant. he is our kevins double, and if you stood a photo of him and our kevins lad who lives at home. you would think identical twins.
so I am chuffed to bits mate. I have talked to him. and he seems a bright lad. not thick like his granddad, haha. he wanted me to send him lots of pictures of the pond and fish. plus patch. our kevin told him my hobbies
hope your ok. whats your temp on your pond. I want to see if my covers are doing the job. mines 10c

freds new pond build
Bloody hell so your kevin didnt know he had another little lad. Glad you have all now connected mate and hopefully it will be a very bright and good future mate.
Ha ha you aint thick fred, far from it mate. Cant work the rigs without a brain bud.
I got my covers on last weekend mate as my old man popped down and in conversation i mentioned my covers so he he gave me a hand (well i was tea bitch to be fair )
Ponds sat the same as yours today mate well 9.9 but close enough
Ive not got top pond covered yet though so not kind of fully covered to be fair. Think air temp was over 10 yesterday though. I dont bypass mine now ay due to the design its awkward been gravity from filter etc... so i box the blade in

My old man used to work in the rigs for a while Fred, Forties Alpha. No idea what he did mind, something to do with testing pipes and valve systems.
I remember the ex step mother from hell fleecing him of all his money though!

Nice one mate. I never worked the forties.
I worked of hull. And most of my time of aberdeen.
The last ninteen years
where of aberdeen. Did a couple of years of yarmouth. For shell.
It was a good life though. Good crack. Shame about your dad being fleeced. Because you earned every penny out there.
The moneys no where near as good now.
About 7 years ago it started dropping.
Respect to your old man though.
Because it was a dangerous environment to work in.
Fred
