I made that part easy lol. I just turned it back to a desk top.
And back to the style of xp.
So when i use it. Its now like working a xp desk top.
All my icons are now on desk top.
I used to be great on computers.
Used to make my own patches for pc games. And sony play station.
And make a few quid.
Use to use a hex software to alter the codes. It used to be in the sony logo. Part of the game. But no matter what i try. I cant get my old games to play.
I think its something to do with intel graphics display drivers.
I have been on the net all day swatting up on it.Sent from my SM-G925F using Tapatalk

i have just took that plastic thing out of the centre of my easy pod. i want to trial it without it in. i was sick of the media k1 keep coming out.
of the gap at the edges. i want to see if it keeps my ammonia nitrite down with out it in.

It should do as it is designed to hold the media together to stop more of the fines getting through it.
With my one as it is on the main pond I get more muck going through it and as a result more muck trapped in the media which doesn't seem to come out on the clearing cycle because the disc can't be removed to allow you to give the media a better stir to try to release the muck from the K1.
Your Eazy Pod is on your QT so won't be getting anywhere near as much muck in the media I wouldn't think.
I've noticed that my Eazy Pod doesn't boil as well as it used to and it has got a 90 lpm air pump feeling it. Maybe it's the disc compacting the K1 too much, maybe the air pump is not working as well as it was before as it's a fairly old piston pump and as a result quite noisy, maybe it's time to remove all of the K1 and give the Eazy Pod a proper clean out?
The disc needs to be removable from the Eazy Pod without the need to remove the overflow.
Am I right in thinking that it boils better and removes more muck if you have Micro K1 in the Eazy Pod as you still have the same amount of water to boil but only have 18 litres of media compared to 30 litres if using standard K1?Last edited by Frimley Koi keeper; 26-09-2018 at 08:05 AM.

My plastic compressor thingy. Lifts up on handles. So allowa the k1 to lift upwards and uncompress.
So it boils like its supposed to.
So no problem there frim. I would nt know about micro k1 boil wise. As most of mine is k1.
Put it this way i will never play with micro k1 again. Gets out to much. A d ends up in the pumps and pond. It will either be helx or k1 all the time im my filters

My disc does the same Fred. I thought you were using Micro K1 not standard K1 that was all. Some of my standard K1 escapes when I boil the Eazy Pod, well it used to but I haven't noticed any escaping recently. Could be related to the colder weather and everything's shrunk slightly causing the original gap to close up enough to stop it getting between the disc and the side of the Eazy Pod?
Is Hel-X any better than standard K1? or is it cheaper per KG?

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
