Pressure washed bottom of pond this morning. With 7foot length of exstention. brush joined to apiece of wood taped. To make it longer. Then taped washer onto it. And taped pressure trigger down. Fish still in pond. They stayed on other side of pond while blasting. All done. Keep monitoring the drum to waste. And do the bottom drain flush every hour. Loads already gone down the waste to drain.
Works good. Did this last year.
Tried my hoover. But to hard to get off. So pressure waher does the trick.
Like being back on the rig. Back at work. Love it.

I was pleased with my self. The largest is 13 inch. And 3 at 12 inch.
The rest about 10 inch. I kept 3 in the grow on. There about 6 inch.
Slow growers. Also to keep filters mature. All bought at 4 inch. Going to get some more to grow on through
The year

I buy them from love aquatics blackpool. Got all my fish from there.
Since new pond was built.
Gonna get 10 more. And grow them for a full year. Instead of 6 months.
That doitsu chagoi and asagi there going to be some size in the future. Going on the 5 months. They eat for britain. Haha.
Thats the only thing john. Moving on whats not wanted. I have a chagoi and 2 showas in tank. Very slow growers. I might keep the little chagoi though. As i like its colouring.

Running heater at low temp?
Covering the pond with polycarb should be enough to stop water temps dipping below 6C for the most...
