    Alright mate,

    Evo55

Would you post it? I know you’ve been hesitant to do so but I live about 2.5hrs away as im in Milton Keynes.

I understand the risk and i know it would be on me?

    Hi
I am able to pick up anytime Friday or early Saturday if that works for you.
I'm taking liberties but would you have bags for collection?
    Regards Dan
  3. Hi Alex,
Best thing do to is set the sleepers onto a concrete collar around the perimeter of the pond.
Then lay sleepers in position and drill holes through them with a long drill bit (I did 16mm), then remove top layer of sleepers and switch to a 16mm concrete bit and use bottom sleeper as a guide to drill through the concrete collar.

Then put sleepers back into position and screw them together using 150mm and 250mm Timberlok screws.

Then sledge hammer 1 metre lengths of 16mm rebar through the holes you drilled through the sleepers and down through the concrete and into the ground below.

The sleepers will never move after this.

    Hi RS2000

I’ve just stumbled across your sleeper pond and it’s exactly what I’m after! My corn erm with building mine is, as you have, lay your sleepers on their side, how did you fix them to the layer below too prevent them moving?

Hope to hear from you soon
    Cheers alex
