  1. Hi Chris, I used to do a lot of stuff but my back has put paid to that mostly. I can certainly help you with as much advice as you need (or that I can give) and that is free. My own pond has a bottom drain and a drum filter so the best thing is probably to come along and have a look at that. I am in Livingston so not that far away. Was it you that messaged me on my work mobile?

There are obviously a few ways to achieve your aim of getting a koi pond in the space that you have so doing a lot of research does actually pay dividends. Don't be afraid of asking questions on the forum, if folk can be helpful they will be, careful there though as many people can only see that the method they have used is the only way to go! The first bit of advice I would give you is to stop laying blocks until you have got your bottom drain in.

Hi Kenny you replied to a post I made on the forum. I'm from Airdrie and just laid the block for a small pond and dug down a bit. I see you have your own company.
Is it possible to give advice, / assistance to me to put in a bottom drain and a drum filter ? I will obviously pay you. I'm a newbie but I want to do it properly.

    Cheers Chris (lonewolf)
