    Pond filter

Hello all I have acquired a eazy pod complete filter, it says it's for pump fed only but is there any way I can change this to gravity fed?

its usually just a smaller inlet size for pump fed isn't it?

i was led to believe you could nt change the easy pod with built in uv. to gravity feed. only the easy pod without the uv. i might be wrong. but i thought i had read that some where.
my easy pod on my qt grow on tank. is none uv built in. and I changed this to bottom drain gravity feed

i believe that’s true Fred...something to do with UV within the inlet area, I think..normal Easypod you can convert to gravity.

Yes I agree with Fred as well.

In theory it may be possible to swap it round to change it from pump to gravity fed but not sure if or how much the UVC would effect the flow into the Eazy Pod in a gravity set up or if the internals are actually capable of being removed and refitted to swap from pump to gravity fed like a standard Eazy Pod?

Hugo, how old is the Eazy Pod you have?

I have 2 standard Eazy Pods, one set up for pump fed and one set up for gravity fed. As you aren't that far from me if you wanted I could swap my Eazy Pod on the QT as it is currently not up and running and then fit your pump fed one on my main and convert my pump fed one back to gravity fed and use that on my QT and that way it would help speed up the maturing of my QT I would think plus you get a gravity fed Eazy Pod already set up so you don't have to mess around converting it?
