    What are these two please.

    Are these common carp? They look doitsu,any ideas please,one is brown and the other blueish/grey.

    To be honest John very hard to tell from those photos be better to use a blue bowl next time but only when you need to do anything for those fish don't put them through any unnecessary stress imo .

    Hi John I would guess that it's more like a Mirror Carp than a common as it looks like it has some large scales and smaller scales, commons normally evenly scaled but that's only what I can see in the photos.

    This one looks like a standard mirror carp john What are these two please. i have a big mirror in mine, love her to death mate.
    Cant really tell by the other picks which one you mean but if its the dark goldy doitsu fish then its very similar also could maybe get away with saying a doitsu chag. You can get throw backs but the one i say is a mirror is likely just a black scaless koi as thats where it came from, but then dont forget all koi came from wild carp originally and the japs and others mixed in european carp strains including the good old fat scaleless mirror carp for certain attributes What are these two please. (mainly the scaless attribute ha ha)

    I was just going to send you a pm as i know you are good on varieties Lee,you must be busy at work as i havnt seen you on here for a bit hope you are well.

    Thanks for that Lee,i want to get rid of them as i need the room to be honest and i dont know what variety they are,common carp ok lovely colour on him,the other one is the brown doitsu one,wouldnt think a chag.

    Not the biggest of koi in length but a big girth and strong looking koi,thanks for that Lee.

    No problem john What are these two please. girth or more belly ha ha is a perticular attribute to a mirror haha
    Im good thanks mate, been a bit busy with work and other life loves of late (i.e the motor, had it on the track and been on the car scene a bit more).
    Ponds been running so well and ive had nothing to say or update with really aswell as reading the usual summer build and general pond questions/things over and over again so ive been a bit slack visiting here if im honest john but alls good thanks What are these two please.
