Hi I was given this koi but I don't know what breed it is. thanks in advance

Hi,
I would say its a yamabuki ogon, if its the one in your profile pic,
might be wrong but pretty sure, it means yellow fish.

sorry to be a little pedantic but ki= means yellow
yamabuki means chrysanthimum. and if your yamabuki has white tips to its pecs it could be growth.
if it ha whole white pecs or any other white on it. it isnt a yamabuki any more
